Formwork Carpenter

The Concrete Forming Carpenter will work under the direction of the Foreman.
**Qualification and Abilities**:
- Experience on construction sites.
- Experience reading blue prints and diagrams.
- Experience with all necessary power tools.
- Able to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects up to 80 lbs.
- Excellent attendance and attitude.
- Valid drivers license with own transportation.
- Must be hard working, punctual and a dedicated team player.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
**Position Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Demonstrates safe work practices and maintains a safe work site.
- Experience with safe operation of a variety of power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Assists with lay-out including for a variety of structures.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials for forms for a variety of structures.
**Own Tools/Equipment**
- Steel-toed safety boots, Carpenter Pouch with tools, Hard Hat
