Carpathai IT Corporation, a thriving IT company in the Okanagan, is seeking a versatile professional to join our team in Kelowna as a Front End Web Developer &
SEO Specialist. This unique role requires a candidate with a strong background in front-end web development and a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO).
Responsibilities:
Front End Web Developer:

• Develop responsive and visually appealing websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design specifications into functional web pages.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize them for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end code with server-side technology.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth user experiences across various devices and browsers.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in web development.

SEO Specialist:

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve website visibility and rankings.
• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content production.
• Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics.
• Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to adapt SEO strategies accordingly.
• Provide regular reports on SEO performance to internal teams and clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Front End Web Developer and SEO Specialist.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.G., React, Angular, or Vue).
• Proficient in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.G., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
• Strong knowledge of responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.G., Git).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A portfolio showcasing previous web development projects and SEO success stories.
