Schedule:
7 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour shifts

Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Gas Plant Operators to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to safety, have a strong work ethic, and are enthusiastic about contributing to the efficient operation of our gas plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control plant equipment and processes related to gas treatment and processing.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Record and report operational data accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize plant performance.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Fourth Class Power Engineering certification would be an asset.
• Experience in a gas plant or related industrial environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 7 on / 7 off rotation.
• Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
