Ground Service Equipment Mechanic Helper!

**Job responsibilities**:
- Provide prompt response to equipment service requests to troubleshoot and repair:
vehicles &
belt loaders (unleaded,diesel and propane engines), lavatory service trucks, air conditioner carts, ground power units and more
- Perform and track preventative maintenance for each piece of equipment
- Work with station management to help control budget and order parts and supplies
- Must have some mechanical knowledges
- Should have their own mechanic tool set
**Qualifications**:
- Be at least 18 years of age and possess a High school diploma, GED or work experience equivalent
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine recognized by the Public Health Agency of Canada
- Be able to obtain airport security clearance, which includes a 10-year extensive employment, criminal record and residence background check
**Physical Requirements**:
- Lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) in confined spaces on a regular basis
- Climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods
- Work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noise
Pay:
$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
