**Bae Food Group **is currently looking for a knowledgeable Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Coordinator for our Production facility located at Leduc. Reporting to the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, this role will be an agent of change in the transformation of Company HACCP Standards in alignment with the new strategic direction towards achieving certification with CFIA.
The HACCP Coordinator leads the organization’s effort to develop its HACCP Plan and to develop, implement, and maintain a HACCP System, including the PRP’s.
**Key Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of a HACCP Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Review all Critical Control Point (CCP) monitoring and verification records to ensure compliance with HACCP critical limits and frequencies, as required by the HACCP plan.
- Monitor HACCP and PRPs to ensure procedures are properly carried out.
- Review and evaluate all records for accuracy and completeness and determine need for process improvement.
- Assist on develop and implement training plans for HACCP, GMP, allergen control, chemical control, glass control, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure and all required plant programs.
- Perform mock recalls and ensure identification, labeling, and traceability system functions as planned.
- Conduct HACCP team meetings and required HACCP review.
- Analyze processes, identify trends and anomalies, and continuously evaluate plant programs for improvement.
- Ensure all food safety-related documents and records are controlled and that current issues are in use.
- Ensures supplier compliance and for any deviation non-conformity reports are issued, communicated to the supplier, tracked, trended, and managed.
- Assist on evaluate, review, and prepare as necessary standard operating procedures and supporting documents for each production area in the facilities.
- Keep informed and current on food safety laws and regulations.
- Audit Food Safety Systems on an ongoing basis.
- Facilitate training and auditing of employee Food Safety practices.
- Maintain effective communication channels between regulatory bodies and BFG.
- Work closely with plant operations in the areas of quality program management, inspections, and testing requirements.
- Provide coverage for QA technicians as required.
- Other duties as assigned by QA Manager.
**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Quality department food processing, production facility, or related industry. With mínimal 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Post-secondary education in food science or related discipline.
- Knowledge in CFIA certification.
- HACCP certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Quality regulatory requirements and systems.
- Internal audit experience.
- Demonstrated competency in project planning, execution, communication and change management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
**Salary**:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
