HIL Development Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing, and documenting HIL toolchain architecture.
  • Defining test procedures and test cases for system integration (Bench Testing).
  • Developing automatic test environment and automatic tests (when suitable).
  • Executing tests, creating test reports, and reporting bugs.
  • Active participation in software systems development with 3rd party company.
  • Active participation in project meetings.
  • Keeping contact with clients (when suitable) in the area of software development and software systems tests.
  • Identify component integration issues, and drive them to resolution by working with cross-functional teams.
  • Understand FlexRay communication and Vehicle diagnostic (as an option).
  • Accomplishing tasks in accordance with E&
    S and TCK quality standards and schedules.
  • Care for good company image.
  • Continuous development of professional qualifications.
  • Care for confidential information and company property.

Basic Requirements


MSc degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related.
Linux OS knowledge (BASH programming), Proficiency in Python development Knowledge of software architecture of distributed systems and software design patterns. English knowledge (ability to speak, read, and write). Team oriented. Methodical approach to problem solving.

Preferred Requirements


Prior experience in the automotive industry. Programming knowledge C++/C# Remote working is possible. Technical tools:
CANoe, Docker, and Slurm as nice to have
