Host/Cashier At Fresh On Crawford

**Location**:
Fresh on Crawford (894 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON M6J 1G3)
**Position Overview**:
We operate 7 days a week between the hours of 10:
00 AM - 11:
00pm there is flexibility within the schedules, but all staff must be available to work weekends. All shifts are about 3-8 hours. Part-time hours are available as well.
**What Are We Looking For?**:
- Open and flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Able to complete physically demanding tasks - standing for long periods, lifting 50lbs, bending and reaching, etc.
- Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system
- Must have a Smart Serve certification
- Experience working at a cafe, restaurant, or fast-food chain (bonus)

**Summary of Responsibilities**:
- Completes a quality check before serving each dish and drink
- Enters orders for delivery and take-out into our POS system
- Prevents shortages by restocking work stations with packaging products, etc.
- Provides customer satisfaction by assisting guests quickly and professionally
- Increases revenue by suggesting specials and using product knowledge
- Ensures a smooth service by being resourceful when problems arise
- Memorizes menu items and ingredients to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Communicates openly with management about concerns regarding workflow and escalations
