Housekeeper Full Time 730-330

Rosedale Seniors’ Living requires a Housekeeper to assist with cleaning of suites and common areas and to complete laundry duties. Position is Monday to Friday 07:
30 a.M. to 3:
30 p.M.
- Perform cleaning duties in resident suites and in common areas
- Monitor for unsafe equipment and report
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry;
may include stripping and making of beds
- Ensure laundry rooms and janitor rooms remain tidy and organized
- **Consistently complete required checklist documentation**:
- Adhere to infection prevention and control principles
- Understand and follow WHMIS and handle cleaning products appropriately;
wear appropriate PPE

S legislation ensuring safe work practices
- Communicate respectfully and courteously with residents and families
- Contribute to and participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
- Attend in-services and education as required
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role and within a seniors’ living facility preferred.
- _**Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector dated within 6 months.**_
- Must be proficient in reading and writing in English
- Communicate well in English verbally and in writing;
demonstrate a positive attitude with good customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Physically fit with the ability to handle the physical demands of the position such as push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25-50 lbs;
walk / stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to complete housekeeping tasks within specific timelines.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
