**HOURS - **Monday to Friday - Overnight Shift

The work of Good Shepherd is based on a fundamental belief in providing hope and restoring dignity to the most vulnerable members of our community. Our services include emergency food transitional housing and education for homeless and street-involved youth;
hospice palliative care;
community mental health programs;
and supportive housing programs. We are committed to integrating Harm Reduction practices into our programs and to prioritizing the rights, dignity, and choices of those who use substances. By integrating a Harm Reduction framework at Good Shepherd, we can decrease barriers to service and better support some of our community's most marginalized members.
This opportunity is with our Good Shepherd - **Women's Services**
**How You Will Make an Impact**
- Responsible for hospitality services including:
cleaning and sanitization of common areas, offices, and program spaces as well as facility laundry
- Provide support, where required, to meal planning, preparation and serving
- Weekly inventory of supplies, procurement of goods through approved vendors and donations
- Delivery of meals as required.
- Maintain a safe and cleanly working environment in accordance with safe food handling and health and safety provisions
**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
- Minimum completed high school diploma
- Valid G license and ability to drive Good Shepherd vehicles
- Residential or commercial cooking experienced required.
- Menu planning experience preferred
- Experience with inventory management is an asset
- Food Handlers certification required, or a willingness to be certified
- CPR certification or willingness to be certified is required
- Committed to anti-racist/anti-oppressive practice and to the mission and values of Good Shepherd
- Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset
