Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking dedicated guest service oriented **Regular Inspector/Inspectress** to join the Housekeeping department.
This position works closely with the Housekeepers, Housekeeping Supervisors, and Front Desk. They will be the liaison between Housekeeping and Front Desk for the communication of releasing rooms to the front desk for arrival and preparation of resort guest, owners, and VIP's.
Starting wage is $20.90, after 6 months $24.38, after one year $27.86.

- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours especially the weekends and holidays (mornings, afternoons and evenings)
- Must possess excellent communication skills with a good understanding of the English language
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have excellent people skills
- Must remain professional, firm and fair at all times
- Must have an upbeat and outgoing personality
- Must be able to communicate with a diverse group of individuals
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to prioritize different tasks
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must have good computer and phone skills
- HotSOS/Rex program experience preferred
- Knowledge of a second language is an asset
**Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)**:
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling
- Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
- Capable of performing repetitious duties
