Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
This position will be involved in the building and fabrication of custom hydroponic systems designed to grow for commercial and residential clients.
The Builder will:
Complete sheeting and rough carpentry work as well as final finishesWork with a variety of different materials as required by blueprintsInstall and troubleshoot water pumps, pvc piping, lighting and Important Company systemsWork withother trades and subcontractors to complete projectsFollow and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety precautions of the tradeAssist in the loading and unloading of supplies and materialsPreferred Skills and Qualifications:
Carpentry, plumbing and electrical experience required with 1+ years in commercial/light industrial settingsKnowledge of tools, equipment, materials and standard practices of the carpentry tradeAbility to measure, cut, shape, assemble and install materials made out of wood, wood substitutes, pvc piping and other lightweight metalsPractical ability to identify and address plumbing, mechanical, and electrical issuesGoal orientated collaboration with peers, management team, and colleaguesAbility to problem solve and overcome barriersMust be flexible and willing to perform other work as neededValid driver?s license with a clean driving record requiredTravelling for final installations will be required
