Flair Airlines is currently seeking permanent, full-time **Inflight Operations Supervisors** to join our growing and ever-changing organization. The Inflight Operations Supervisor is an integral part of the Inflight Management team, providing airport and airside operational support, coaching, and performance management of our front-line team of Flight Attendants. Reporting to the Manager, Inflight Operations the incumbent provides critical operational presence across the assigned regional Flight Attendant group. From managing Flight Attendant performance and recognition to delivering a safe on-time operation, our Inflight Supervisors are an integral part of the Inflight Management team.
**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Inflight Operations Supervisor **include:
- Provide daily and in-person direction, coaching, support, and performance management of Flight Attendants specific to standard operating procedures and policies, and expectations
- Coach and develop Flight Attendants to exceed expected performance levels, providing on-the-spot management support during operational and or irregular operations
- Ensure that all standards and practices are adhered to and act as a resource person for Flight Attendants
- Recognize Flight Attendants for exemplary service, teamwork, and performance
- Actively promote a safety-focused culture, ensuring our Flight Attendant group remains informed and up to speed on department initiatives in addition to any changes in policies or procedures
- Support performance management investigations and escalations, coordinating appropriate follow-up and review meetings as required
- Provide effective gate-side support and assistance, ensuring collaboration between departments as required
- Participate in daily operational calls, liaising with Inflight Management, Crew Scheduling, and OCC as required to mitigate and prevent operational escalations
- Assist with resolving daily operational situations and escalations associated with normal and irregular operations
- Develop positive relationships with team members and other work groups to achieve our common goals
- Actively participate in regional on-time performance initiatives, contributing to the betterment of departmental metrics and performance indicators
- Monitor, review, and challenge delays specific to the Inflight Services team, conducting delay investigations as required
- Support on-call and after-hours management coverage as required
- Support the Inflight Management team with Inflight recruitment and department initiatives as required
- Review and resolve customer complaints with Flight Attendants as necessary
- Support and assist with all AOSH, OSH, SMS matters as required
- Review and process Flight Attendant injuries;
ensuring the prompt andaccurate completion of injury and safety reports as required
**Working Conditions**:
Inflight Operations Supervisors are operationally focused and will be required to report to their designated Inflight Crew Base/Airport location. They will be required to fly on a regular basis to assess work performance and to provide constructive feedback to Flight Attendants. Inflight Operations Supervisors must be flexible and willing to accommodate a mixed schedule which includes early mornings, evenings, and weekend coverage.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Minimum two (2) years of direct line experience as a Flight Attendant
- Leadership and management experience is required, experience managing unionized employees is an asset
- Must be able to obtain and maintain valid company Flight Attendant and Inflight Director (IFD) qualifications
- Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and direct subordinates
- Must have the utmost integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and decision-making capability
- Demonstrated ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with frequent interruptions while managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks and assignments
- Demonstrated high degree of interpersonal skill and ability
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
