The Cardiac Care Program at London Health Science Centre provides cutting edge, comprehensive, expert cardiac care to the local community, southwestern Ontario and beyond for very specialized services.
The program spans across multiple units and services at University Hospital and Victoria Hospital, with children’s cardiac services provided at Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario. Adult services provided include level two cardiac care;
general cardiology;
heart failure;
diagnostic and interventional cardiology;
procedural short stay;
electrophysiology and rhythm device services;
cardiac surgery, including robotic and mínimally invasive;
perfusion services;
outpatient clinical services;
non-invasive diagnostictesting;
and cardiac care network facilitation and data collection.

**Job Summary**:
**What the Role is**
This role will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the Cardiac Catheterization labs, arrythmia labs and device clinic.
Reporting to the Director, Inpatient Cardiac Care, Cardiac Invasive Labs and Perfusion the Interim Manager, Cardiac Invasive Procedural Services directs, controls and evaluates the delivery of department services. They are responsible for translating decisions of the program leadership into execution, by utilizing relationship management and working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the necessary outcomes. The Manager ensures their team and department operations are aligned with our mission, vision and values, while working together to successfully achieve our strategic objectives.
This role is accountable for day-to-day department activities, including the management of human and material resources, day-to-day staffing and scheduling, development and support of a healthy workplace, risk and utilization measurements, and facilitation of improvement initiatives and change management, while operating within approved operational budgets and financial guidelines and controls. A major focus of the role is fostering effective working relationships and networks within the team/unit and with other teams across the organization.
Please note this position is a temporary opportunity for the duration of up to 12 months.
