TorontoHybrid workingA high-profile hospital is seeking a seasoned OD and change management professional to add critical capacity and capability to the human resources team as they embark on a complex clinical program review. The organization has partnered with a big 4 consulting firm to provide them with the strategy and roadmap for the project, the leadership need an external resource to help them own the operational execution of this strategy. This is a critical role to ensure the success of this initiative by coaching and advising the leadership through this project and ensuring the organization is engaged and excited about the opportunity to evolve and improve the staff and patient experience.The assignment will include performance measurement, organizational re-alignments, organizational design &
governance, workforce strategy &
planning and operating model transformations. This position will be required to provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to inform new frameworks and programs required to ensure that the organization optimizes operating performance.Key Accountabilities:
Provide expertise, coaching and best practice guidance for the development of OD strategies for the clinical program review.Assess the current change plan and evolve with input from the CHRO.Provide expertise and guidance for implementation of OD strategies.Provide expertise, coaching and best practice guidance for change resistance.Engage and collaborate effectively with internal clients and stakeholders to develop effective OD strategies.Build effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders, and provide consistent professional OD expertise, coaching and best practice guidance in support of business objectives.Produce, update, and provide best practice OD business services, including workflow and process improvements.In partnership with the Director Communications, develop communications in support of OD strategies.Work with key user groups to ensure excitement and engagement throughout the organization.Develop and promote internal OD tools and resources, and coordinate OD training. across the organization including training plans for new skills and processes.Deploy change readiness surveys, analysis, and communication of results.Develop and implement culture change strategies and plans.Preparation and delivery of engagement activities (i.E., all-hands, information sessions for Managers and end-users, etc.).Competencies and Requirements:
Post-Secondary Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.7 to 10+ years related work experience in HR, Project Management and OD.Considerable depth of experience leading OD transformation.Ideally worked in healthcare, academia, or the broader public sector.Excellent interpersonal skills;
coaching &
project management skills.Strong initiative, diplomacy, and solid judgement abilities/skills.Change management experience.Preferred experience within large, complex organizations.Demonstrated consultative approach with a service-oriented mindset.Strong analytical skills – gathers and synthesizes information to identify key themes and gaps.Effective project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.Strong attention to detail.Proficient in leveraging technology to advance organizational development objectives.Data driven and analytical.
