**Job Title**:
Job Site Crew Leader / Carpenter (Deck, Fence, Pergola, Cabana, other outdoor structures)
**Duties**
- Lead a team of 1-3 carpenters/labourers to build outdoor structures according to custom and standard designs. This is a hand-on role, you will be doing carpentry with the team while providing guidance and training to the team members as necessary.
- Liaise with between project manager, designer, and team members to ensure organized, accurate and efficient work is delivered to customer’s scope on time and within budget. Solve problems, with good judgement to decide when to ask for clarification.
- Assist with ordering materials, analyse and interpret job site drawings, installation specifications, other visuals.
- Accountable for a fast-paced positive job site which is productive, clean, and safe.
- Schedule team members based on all factors (job site, weather, availability of materials, etc). Organize team members and assign tasks to maximum results.

**Logistics**:
- _Hours:
_ 8-12 hour days, Mondays - Saturdays, overtime available.
- _Pay Rate:
_ $30-35/hr
- _Location:
_ GTA and surrounding areas. Neighbourhood Fence and Deck, Inc. is a based out of Woodbridge Ontario, and services locations in an approximately 1 hour radius of there. Job site locations may include but are not limited to;
Newmarket, Bradford, Aurora, Caledon, Orangeville, Bolton, Vaughan, Woodbridge, Nobleton, King, Rexdale, Etobicoke, Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, and Oakville.
- _Working Conditions:
_ Require standing, sitting, and lifting for long periods of time, lifting approximately 50lb throughout the day, job sites are outside, long unpredictable hours, comfort with various weather conditions as well as heights and ladders is required. There will be a level of strength and endurance required for this position.

**Requirements &
Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Transportation to and from job sites (valid drivers license and working vehicle)
- 2-4 years’ experience in carpentry, and experience leading construction crews
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculation requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood and other materials
- Fit and install trim items, doors, stairs, mouldings, and/or hardware
- Well organized individuals
- Time management skills
- Strong communication and language skills
- Customer service, respectful of clients and their property
- Understanding of basic math and ability to do simple calculations in head
