Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine requirementsComplete Structural Welding (tanks, skids, trailers)Spooling/bench work (ladders, flanges, pipe)Follow weld procedures to ensure quality productsProficient with SMAW, GMAW, SAW, carbon and stainless steels in all positionsManual dexterity with ability to lift up to 50 lbsFollow various company policies and procedures including adherence to high Safety standardsBe willing to teach and mentor apprenticesWork safely and observe all safety rules to provide a safe place for all employeesProduce a quality productMeet schedule deadlinesComplete all required paperworkOther duties, as advised by direct supervisorQualifications/Requirements:
Experienced 2nd or 3rd year registered apprenticeor experienced Journeyman WelderCWB ticketsSubarc Experience is considered an assetAPITank ExperiencePossess mechanical aptitude, with an eye for detail and a willingness to learnPunctual and reliableExcellent communication skills both verbal and written in EnglishMust have the ability to read and understand blueprint drawingsBe familiar with the production &
QC inspection processSkilled at using equipment such as - grinders and torches etc.Responsible to wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Attention to detailPrevious shop experienceMust be able to work with a mínimal supervisionApplication Details:
