**Young EnergyServe a Vertex Resource Group Company Ltd.** looking for motivated, dedicated and skilled individuals with industry experience with Industrial Tank Cleaning Turnarounds. This position does require travel throughout Western Canada in order to meet the needs of our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The pipefitter is a ticketed journeyman pipefitter with 4+ years’ experience in oil and gas facility operations. The craftsman is a turnaround support position. This position requires workers to wear specialized personal protective equipment, use various hand and power tools and other equipment. During onsite activities, the pipefitter will be required to perform QA/QC inspections of completed work.
- Install and remove blanks, blinds, valves, and various piping systems is required
- Responsible for coaching, mentoring and leading a small crew of laborers or wrenchers
- Stand, sit, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time
- Remove, handle, position and install PVS’s at various locations including from scaffold / man basket / AWP
- Follow directions accurately, attention to detail
- Actively participate in safety meetings, tool box meetings, permit and hazard assessment reviews. Prepare hazard assessments as appropriate.
- Complete required inspection records for PPE and equipment
Qualification/ Experience Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with industrial cleaning or oil and gas operations - turnaround experience required
- Ticketed Journeyman Pipefitter
- Able to lift and carry up to 45 Kg
- Extensive knowledge of:
- Industrial hygiene,
- Ergonomics
- Personal protective equipment requirements
- Gas monitoring
- Basic hand and power tools
- Selection, care, inspection and operation of respiratory protective equipment
- Material handling / rigging experience
- Workers must be competent in use of fall protection
- Occupational health and safety regulations, safety programs (company and client)
- Ability to read / complete complex piping diagrams and P&
ID’s, identify isolationpoints and justify locations
- Industry best practices in pipefitting practices
- Physically and medically fit

- H2S
- OSSA Confined Space Entry Monitor
- OSSA Fall Protection
- First Aid/ AED - 2 day course
