Kennel Assistant

Part-time help needed at our boarding facility which is located in rural Ottawa, west of the town of Richmond. We are looking for a committed and reliable individual able to work in a fast-paced and fun environment. The applicant must enjoy working with animals as well as people. Dependable transportation is essential _(no public transportation available to the area)._

**Duties**:
Duties include but are not limited to cleaning kennel suites, kennel beds and common areas inside the kennel (ie kitchen, office, etc ), washing dishes, mix proper dilutions for cleaning solutions, assist in transporting pets to or from their cages, exercising dogs, pooper scooping, proper animal feeding and medication, re-stocking supplies, laundry, contact with clients and various other duties as needed.
**Availability**:
Must be available holidays, weekends, and school breaks. Hours may change on a as needed basis.
We are somewhat flexible for hours. Total hours weekly should be between 6 and 30 hours.
