Position:
Part/Time Animal Care Attendant, with into
40 hours/week
Pay:
$16 hour to start after probation room to grow.
Start Time:
ASAP
Details:
Our animal care attendants are responsible for ensuring the animals in shelter have all their needs met daily and are being set up for the future. Duties include but are not limited to:
Cleaning, Handling animals interacting with the public, training animals and providing enrichment, more cleaning, transport.
- Experience in animal handling is an asset.
- Knowledge on basic animal needs is required.
- Must be able to work evenings &
weekends.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
Successful applicants would be punctual, fast learners, problem solvers, able to work independently, able to work in a fast paced environment and a team player.
Please note that this is both a physically and mentally demanding job.
Must be able to provide 2 references.
