Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Manager of Patient Care or delegate, the incumbent is responsible for performing phlebotomy on ward rounds including Children's Hospital and all functions and processes associated with the blood specimen collection and dispatch.
Experience
:
One year of recent experience as a phlebotomist is required.
Education Degree/Diploma/Certificate
:
Complete high school education, Manitoba standards science courses preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
:
Certification in phlebotomy required.
Qualifications and Skills
:
Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenouscustoms, traditions and values.

Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
