**Position Overview**
The Laborer is responsible for ensuring the safety of welders and the surrounding area during welding operations by monitoring for potential hazards and taking immediate action to extinguish or report any fires.
**Responsibilities**:
- Continuously monitor the welding area for potential hazards, including hot sparks and molten metal
- Assist welders with set up and cleanup of welding equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
- Assisting tradespeople
- Follow safety procedures.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in welding or construction is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be physically able to perform manual labor tasks
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
**Physical Demands**:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment
- Must be able to work in a noisy and hot environment
**Working Conditions**:
- May be required to work outside in inclement weather
- May be required to work in confined spaces
- May be required to work at heights
NOTE:

**Salary**:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour
