Labourer

**Labourer - Temporary**
We are currently recruiting Labourers to join our growing team within the Thompson Okanagan region of British Columbia. This is a full-time, temporary position expected to last approximately three months with potential opportunity for long term employment.
**General Duties &
Responsibilities**:
- Work safely in a mining or civil construction environment following company procedures and policies
- Typical duties include, but are not limited to, parts running, equipment washing, working with equipment operators, operating powered equipment, loading and unloading of supplies and equipment, light maintenance, and other duties as needed
- Operation of truck scale and daily reporting of data
- Work independently with little to no supervision
**Requirements**:
- Ability to complete mandatory internet-based Orientation and Indoctrination training and certification
- Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean Drivers Abstract
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
- Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training
- Good communication skills
**What we offer**:
- $28 to $32 per hour based on experience and skills (10 hours per day, Monday to Friday)

**Location**:
This position is based out of the Ashcroft area of British Columbia.
This is not a camp position;
employee provide their own transportation to/from the job site.
