JOIN OUR TEAM and help make our residential spaces even better. We are currently recruiting for the Summer.
Employees will be assigned to multiple locations within Important Company Square One area. This position is required to work 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday.
Garden maintenance water lawns, lay sod
Maintaining horticulture installations and displays
Planting
Weeding
Aeration
Fertilization
Performance of cleaning duties, including litter pick-up, sweeping, raking, shoveling, pressure washing, or other as assigned by the Supervisor
Potential operations of equipment uponreceiving training
Carry out other manual tasks in order to clean and maintain landscaped environments
Requirements/Assets:
Ontario Driver?s License Class G2 or higher is an asset
Previous experience or formal education in landscaping or horticulture
Understanding of applicable Health and Safety regulations and Occupational Health and Safety Act
Must report to work in all weather conditions outdoor work environment
Green Patch CSA approved safety boots
Physical Demands:
Moderate lifting of equipment and objects up to 55 lbs;
exposure to vibration, unpleasant smells, fumes, dust, and flying particles;
exposure to grass, weeds, trees and other outdoor allergens, animal feces and various insects;
requires bending, climbing, walking, pushing, sitting, standing and repetitive
