**This opportunity is for a permanent position working 75 hours biweekly**
The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Board (WSCB) administers workplace health and safety and workers’ compensation in the territory. WSCB’s mission is to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses in partnership with employers and workers and to support workers when injuries occur. We take care of injured workers by facilitating their stay at work, return to work and recovery.

**The Role**:
**Essential Qualifications**:
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet each of the following qualifications. Please note, selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.- Post-secondary coursework in Mine Engineering or related field
- Recent, substantial experience in a supervisory/managerial role including experience mentoring, leading and developing the performance of direct reports
- Experience managing and conducting complex health and safety inspections and program evaluations of all mines, concentrators and exploration projects
- Experience providing advice and direction, in accordance with sound Mining engineering principles and regulatory requirements, related to plans and specifications of mining procedures, methods, structures, equipment and products;
- Post-secondary coursework in Occupational Health and Safety, Canadian Registered Safety Professional or related field would be an asset
