Masonry Construction Worker

Bartlett Restoration is a masonry restoration company that specializes in the restoration of unique heritage structures including churches, museums, mausoleums, railroad stations, lighthouses and other historic masonry buildings. Bartlett Restoration also focuses on masonry restoration of commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.
**Job description**
Masonry work typically includes the following:
- Conduct construction tasks including site mobilization and maintenance,
- Cut, repoint, and wash masonry exterior of buildings,
- Assist in demolition and removal of brick veneer from the building,
- Prepare and organize construction site, materials, and tools
- Assist and labour for masons in the bricklaying process,
- Perform additional related construction activities.
Additional Requirements
- Understanding and commitment to the safe use of power tools,
- Effective communication skills,
- Commitment to learning the construction trade,
Personal protective equipment (other than workboots) will be provided.
Prior masonry experience is not required, general construction experience is an asset.
Working at heights certification is an asset, but will be provided if no prior training.
**Salary**:
From $19.00 per hour
