Medical Office Receptionist

We are looking for a full-time Medical Office Receptionist to join our team.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle multi-tasks, good team player and detail oriented person;
- Proficient in EMRsystem (Oscar EMR is an asset)
- Receptionist with at least 2 years work experience at family medical clinic;
- Certificate of phlebotomist is an asset;
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese);
- Required to work on Saturdays;
- Able to drive independently.
Job description
The major duties for the receptionist position are as follows:
- Answer phone calls to book, cancel and reschedule appointments for patients;
- Check in returning patients and create demographics for new patients;
- Follow up the consultation appointments for patients;
- Call patients back to review medical reports with doctors;
- Take vitals for patients if necessary;
- Perform pregnancytests and urine dips;
- Fax consultation requisition forms to specialists;
- Scan and upload the patient’s documents to the EMR system;
- Exam room supplies check up and refill;
- The other tasks requested by the clinic.
