We are looking for passionate experienced childcare professional Nannies who love children, have good-natured personalities and are excited to support families with their childcare needs.
A loving, curious and adventurous family is looking for a Part-time Nanny to support their family with after-school care and, ideally, someone who can help morning as well. They have an 8-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. The family is looking for someone to support them after school or camp for the summer months, engage with children and do activities with them, feed them dinner and do the bedtime routine until parents get home. Ideally would need support in the mornings as well. However, they are flexible with this.
The schedule would be Monday to Friday from 2:
30 pm to 7:
30 pm and, ideally, mornings from 6:
45 am to 8:
45 am. For Summer months, the schedule would be Monday to Friday from 7:
00 am to 10:
00 am and 3:
30 pm to 7:
30 pm. They are offering **25-GUARANTEED HOURS per week**.
Their ideal Nanny is kind, active, loving, fun, and communicates well. Both parents work and are busy and need someone reliable who can support mornings and afternoons. They are looking for someone with a driver's license and who is comfortable driving, family would be providing a car, and they would add Nanny to their insurance and provide them with all expenses. They would seek someone to engage with their children and offer a safe environment. Additionally, someone who can assist with meal preparation, childcare-related. They are looking for a Nanny who can commit for the long term, ideally for two years if possible.
**Requirements**:
- Eligible to work in Canada
- 19 + years old age
- Have at least three years of childcare experience
- Childcare CV (Childcare focus CV/Resume)
- Positive references (At least three childcare references)
- Reference letter (At least a 1-reference letter)
- Cover letter detailing your childcare experience
- First-aid and CPR certified up to date
- Willing to obtain a Canadian criminal record check
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English or French
- COVID-19 Vaccinated would be preferred
- Someone who holds a Drivers License and a clean driving record
**Responsibilities**:
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for their children
- Engage and play with their children.
- Meal preparation for children (Snacks, dinner, etc.)
- Childcare duties and cleaning after children
- Outdoor activities
- Driving children to activities (camp, gymnastics, after-school activities)
**Other Considerations**:
- Dad might work from home
- 8-year old has celiac and she follows a special diet
**Compensation and benefits**:
- **25 Guaranteed hours offered per week**:
- Meals and snacks will be provided
- Metro or gas compensation can be discussed
