Night Audit Agent
Key Responsibilities
This is an overnight shift and begins at:
Check-in and check-out services
Answering guest inquiries, accommodating special requests and assisting in resolving and concerns or issues in person or via telephone
Prepare, check, and correct room rate variances by conducting thorough audits
Ensure wake-up calls are set for the morning toensure accuracy &
complete as required
Runs the nightly processing sequence to reset systems for the next days' use
Prepares and transmits credit card deposits
Balance the rooms audit
Keep team informed of all problems, emergencies and unusual matters of significance
Adheres to all established credit and inventory control procedures
Present statement of charges to departing guests and receive payment
Identify and record special billing instructions and notify Accounting
Minimize loss of revenue by adhering to all established credit and inventory control procedures
Ensure the security of keys, company and guest information
Report unsafe work conditions, areas requiring repair or suspicious persons
Must be able to assist with parking and retrieving of guest vehicles if required
Assisting with emergency response as required
Qualifications:
This is an excellent opportunity for an, energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented individual, with a minimum 2 years previous customer service experience.
1 year's previous guest service/front desk or accounting experience is required
Previous professional experience requiring the use of a computer is required
Strong knowledge of computer systems required, OPERA or similar and additional languages are an asset.
A valid driver's license with clean drivers abstract;
the ability to drive manual standard vehicles is an asset.
Proven, exceptional guest service and communication both verbal and written skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Position requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
