**Position Summary**
Toronto Deck and Rail is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team. As a Rail Fence Builder, you will learn new skills by working directly with our operations Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop and advance in their career.
**Job Duties**
- Read and interpret blueprints or work order specifications to determine type and thickness of glass, frame, installation procedure and materials required.
- Measure and mark glass and cut-glass using glass cutters or computerized cutter
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolds, rigging and hoisting equipment.
- Install, fit, and fabricate and attach architectural metals or related substitute products in commercial and residential buildings
- Operate equipment to produce components for field installations.
- Perform other duties as directed
**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**
- Must be comfortable working at Heights and Outdoors
- Fast-paced environment, work under tight timelines, repetitive task and handling of heavy loads.
- Establish safe equipment handling
- Applicants need to be in good physical shape;
this line of work requires a lot of lifting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, attention to detail, hand eye co-ordination
- Ability to lift 23kg independently.
