Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to our customers. If you have a passion for sushi and possess excellent culinary skills, we would love to hear from you.
**Duties**:
- Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely food service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and mentor junior sushi chefs, as required
**Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in the food industry
- In-depth knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and presentation
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Creativity in developing new sushi rolls or dishes
**Salary**:
From $5,000.00 per month
Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Cooking:
1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English/ chinese (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
