The Operations Manager Canada is responsible for the overall operations of One Life One Chance Ministries OLOCM in Canada according to the strategic direction set out by the Board of Directors, in partnership with the Executive Director Mexico.POSITION OVERVIEWThe primary purpose of the Operations Manager OM is to manage the everyday affairs of the Canadian office. The OM is responsible for overseeing administration, office activities, events, donor relations, and ministry communication. This is a full-time 32-40hr position covering a maternity leave.WORKING RELATIONSHIPSThe OM reports to and works under the guidance of the OLOCM Board of Directors Executive Team. The OM works in collaboration with the Executive Director Mexico and the Finance Director.AUTHORITYThe Board of Directors shall provide the OM with the material resources required to complete the responsibilities as outlined below. The OM shall always act in the best interest of OLOCM. In thefulfillment of the responsibilities of this position, the OM not:
Violate ethics of the OLOCM Statement of Faith or Lifestyle Covenant, speak on behalf of theBoard, violate any legal requirements, violate boundaries of the responsibilities and expectations of this positionRESPONSIBILITIESOversees administration of ministry programs and projects, constituent information and database maintenance, policy development, maintenance of OLOCM Board documents and policies, standards, purchases of office supplies and equipment, making travel arrangements, coordination of meetings, preparation of presentation materialOccasionally travels to Mexico to support the work of OLOCMCommunicates with churches regarding administration needsAids in processing volunteersResearch ways to enhance current communication methodsKeeping accounts and online apps updated with addresses, payment info and personnel info, etc.Ministry insurance renewalsDonor relationsManaging fundraisersWith support from Anchor Marketing Inc.:
Prepares regular communication and promotional pieces highlighting ministries of OLOCMManages website and online channels with regular contentSupports marketing initiatives of OLNewsletter planning and review;
Annual report planning and review;
branding updates;
social media planning and postingJOB DETAILSThis position is a full-time 32-40hr position covering a mat leave and paid hourly.
