Overview:
**Paint Source Inspector**
Currently seeking for a Source Inspector to support our customer in the Montreal area, Québec, or Peterborough and Toronto area, Ontario, Canada.
Frequency:
Approximately 4-8 hours per week. (Variable)
Duration:
1 year (on-going)
- Perform source inspections of the aircraft exterior painting required by the documentation and esthetics requirements.
- Ensure paint is conformed to the engineering requirements and the documentation and free from visual defects.
- Identify and document any non-conformance
- Ensure inspection documents is conformed and complete
- Source inspection will be in the Peterborough and Montreal region.
**Qualifications**:
- Must have over 5 years of experience in Aerospace
- Inspector must have practical experience performing exterior paint inspection on aircraft. (other type of vehicule exterior painting experience will be accepted e.G. car, train, etc.)
- The inspections will be performed to engineering requirements and specifications.
- Must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Must have experience with esthetic inspections and various inspection tools.
- Be ready to travel between Montreal and Peterborough area.
- French speaking and writting will be considered as asset
- Computer savvy (e.G. Microsoft suites)
- Authorize to work in Canada.
