Pet Groomer

THIS POSITION IS ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED PET GROOMERS.
Underdog Grooming is seeking a skilled and passionate part time Pet Groomer to join our team.
The position is independent contract at 50% commission with opportunity for advancement depending on performance.
Shifts include Monday, Friday, and Saturdays.
Must have own basic equipment, scissors, clippers, blades, brushes etc. Dryers, table, shampoo, ear cleaner/powder, wipes, cleaning supplies, and booking is provided for you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims for various breeds of dogs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client's needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area.
- Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history.
- Identify any health issues or abnormalities during the grooming process and report them to the pet owner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest grooming techniques and trends.
Qualifications:
- EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED (2 years)
- Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements especially regarding Doodles.
- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting.
