Pipefitter

Micron Industries Inc. specializes in Stainless Steel High Pressure Braided Hose &
Cryogenic Vessel Service / Inspection as well as Propane &
Anhydrous Trailer Inspection / Repair. We need one (1) Pipefitter who can start immediately. It is a regulated occupation so only applicants who have credentials to work in the hairstylist trade in Alberta will be considered.
Wage:
$40.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week.

Job Duties:
Clean and maintain pipe units and fitting and flush systems;
Remove and replace worncomponents and reactivate systems;
Select type and size and pipe required;
Cut opening for pipe inwalls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machined;
Install supports, valves, piping and control systems;
Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size;
Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system;
Test system for leaks using testing equipment;
Schedule materials, tools and personnel;
Instruct apprentice;
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications;
Estimate costs and materials
