At Transportation Maintenance Branch, we are committed to maintaining all highway, recreational roads, airstrips and other facilities for the traveling public. We deliver services in a professional and efficient manner with safety as our number one priority.
In the Mechanical Operations unit, we are committed to providing a cost effective service for our fleet of highway maintenance equipment. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual that has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Reporting to the Equipment Controller, the Preventative Maintenance Clerk is responsible for maintaining the Transportation Division fleet and other departments’ fleet requirements in a computerized equipment numbering system. This position is also responsible for monitoring the preventative and planned maintenance programs and providing a variety of support functions for branch staff.
**Essential Qualifications (what we’re looking for in your resume)**:

- Experience performing data entry functions in a computerized environment;
- Experience completing basic accounting procedures;
- Experience in an automotive or heavy equipment servicing environment would be an asset.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Experience compiling, interpreting, maintaining and auditing accurate information
- The ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
**Conditions of Employment**
- Yukon Class 5 driver’s licence
**Job Requirements**
- Willingness to travel throughout Yukon
