Process Control Engineer

Insight Global is currently hiring for an Advanced Process Control Engineer for one of Canada's largest oil and gas companies. The successful candidate will work onsite in Fort McMurray to lead and develop the implementation of APC solutions across their processing plants. This opportunity is starting as a 12 month contract and will be based onsite for 5 days a week in Fort McMurray. This will be an ongoing contract position with opportunity to extend to 3-5 years.

Must Haves:

• 10+ years of experience in process control
• Demonstrated experience with Advanced Process Control
• Able to design, install, maintain and configure APC applications
• Knowledge and hands on experience with APC suites such as:
  Aspen, DeltaV or Honeywell)
• Experience with data analysis and analytics

Plusses:
- Degree in Engineering or certified with Process Control, Computer Science or Mathematics
- APEGA or eligible for registration
