As a member of the Management Team for Nelson Hydro, the Projects &
Customer Service Manager is responsible for the Capital Project upgrades to the Nelson Hydro generation, transmission, and distribution systems. The PCS Manager also provides leadership, guidance, and support to their highly engaged team serving customers seeking new connection, billing and metering services. As a technical expert, they will also be called upon to provide professional, electrical engineering support to Nelson Hydro and other City of Nelson departments and engage in strategic planning to address the challenges of climate change and meeting the City’s climate energy goals.
Success in this position will be indicated by high team moral, effective customer service, a high level of system reliability, a high regard for safety by both management and employees and cost-effective project delivery.
If you have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a professional designation, 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity and 8 years of experience with an electric utility, we would love to hear from you!
