Anmar Mechanical and Electrical Contractors Ltd. are currently seeking a **Purchaser **to join our expanding operations in Sudbury, Ontario.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum two (2) years experience in procurement and purchasing.
- Bachelors in business or related field considered an asset.
- Ability to create and understand Request for Proposal documentation.
- Preferred experience in industrial and manufacturing industry.
- Purchasing and distribution experience required.
- Familiarity with commercial business contracts.
- Management experience considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to create and understand Request for Proposal documentation.
**Job Duties**
- Manage Procurement Department
- Negotiate with suppliers for price, quality, timeliness and other factors.
- Create Request for Pricing documentation.
- Produce and process requisitions, invoices, supply request and supply orders.
- Prepare tender documents;
coordinating with engineering, legal, expediting, QA, scheduling and logistics, accounts payable and cost control to meet the project requirements.
- Receive tenders, proceed with the commercial analysis and manage internal and external communications.
- Review bid and contracts for compliance and accuracy.
- Negotiate and interpret purchase, design and construction contracts;
establish and maintain contract records and ensure compliance with commercial contractual terms and conditions.
- Action all engineering changes to specifications advising suppliers accordingly.
- Ensure all related activities of Purchasing are fulfilled in a timely manner in compliance with Company policies.
- Liaise with warehouse to verify internal inventory for projects
- Perform all other duties as required.
