The primary goal of the **QC Inspector** is to inspect, sample and release pharmaceutical products.

**The opportunity**:
Sampling
- Inspection and sampling of incoming raw materials
- Review of receiving documents
- Reporting of any quality issues to management and assisting in product disposition
- Maintaining sampling room supplies
- Maintaining retain samples
- Maintaining relevant Quality documents in accordance with the standard operating procedures
Production audits and release of MEDISCA products
- Performing pre-production/post-production daily audits
- Performing daily audits on re-packaging activities
- Inspection and release of finished products
Maintenance of Quarantine zone
- Handling and rejection of expired materials at the end of each month
- Maintaining and organizing all the materials in Quarantine zone pending Quality disposition or destruction
Any other duties assigned by Quality Management
**Skills, knowledge and abilities**:
- AEC in Pharmaceutical production technology or Bachelor of Science
- 1-2 years related work experience
- Knowledge of Health Canada’s current GMP’s is considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills required;
fluent English &
French (oral &
written). This positionrequires communication with customers based across Canada and the United States.
- Attention to detail is a must;
accountable for his/herwork
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required
- Knowledge of Syspro/Master Control an asset
