Reporting to the Quality Assurance Control &
Quality Control Manager, MIP is seeking for a Quality Assurance &
Quality Control Coordinator who can coordinate all technical control quality activities.
The QA-QC Coordinator will have a key role in supporting different teams:
Product development, Sourcing and Sales. From testing, analyzing, tracking, collecting data samples and products, the incumbent will provide recommendations to support the decisions of thestakeholders.
This role also requests the incumbent to be comfortable to communicate with different third party, such as suppliers and inspection companies, to review and monitor corrective action and preventive action plans.

**Responsibilities summary**
**Sourcing and Product Development**:
- Coordinates and schedules product quality control reviews
- Coordinates and ensures documentation is current and consistent with established practices.
- Maintains and creates MIP fabric numbers, development requests and tests, where applicable
- Responsible for comparative long-term tests of Sample Requests and Development Requests
- Maintains and reports on the quality control results of product development
- Coordinates, analyzes, and makes recommendations for special testing
- Responsible for the coordination of outside testing (lab testing)
- Responsible for competitive analysis requests, recording component specs, wash tests, etc.
- Archiving of tests for future reference
**Internal Testing**:
- Coordinates internal wash tests
- Proactively advising and providing feedback of possible problems with fabrics during the test and analysis process
- Responsible for the review of inbound test results
- Maintain and calibrate quality control measurement tools
**Customer support and Non-Conformance support**:
- Quality Control Analysis to identify the root cause of defect products
**Inspect Reports**:
- Setup, manage and report inspection reports from 3rd party inspection
- Request, monitor and approve Corrective Action and Preventive Action plans from suppliers
**Experience &
profile**
- Technical Professional Studies Diploma (DEP) on quality control and/or laboratory testing
- 2 years experience working on quality control in the têxtile industry (commercial or industrial)
- Strong communicational skills in English mandatory (written/oral), bilinguism an asset
- Math skills
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word
- Analytical skills - ability to summarize test results, format results into reports, identify potential problems with a fabric
- Good decision making, including knowing when to escalate an issue that requires immediate attention.
- Good Manufacturing Practices knowledge
- Good organizational skills
**Salary**:
$48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
