**Position Information**
As a Quality Audit Inspector, the purpose of this position is to be responsible for checks and testing of parts, while also ensuring proper function. The job incumbent also measures and a tests product to ensure the quality meets its specifications.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Visual Inspection_
- Auditing and inspecting in-coming product for non-conforming product or abnormal condition for all products as required
- Measure and inspect all Aisin Canada commodities
- Assist in sorting activities as required
- Quarantine Process_
- Ensuring non
- conforming product and parts on hold are properly identified
- Following the flow of non-conforming handling procedures.
- Reporting and Communication_
- Updating daily audit findings sheets
- Filling out defect sheets when non-conformances are found
- Reporting material defects to QC hancho and supervisor
- Other_
- Ensuring 5S activities are completed as required
- Review and follow Quality Alert instructions
- Follow all safety and PPE requirements
- Participate in kaizen activities
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Manufacturing experience in an automotive, Tier 1 environment is essential. Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to be assertive while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to use various quality measuring tools accurately.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar quality inspector role or currently enrolled in a quality program.
- Previous experience in other quality or techical roles
- College diploma in Quality Assurance or a related discipline is considered an asset
