Quality Control Inspector

NHF is currently looking for a quality control inspector to work closely with the quality team. Under the responsibility of the Quality Assurance manager, the QC inspector supervises the quality aspects of the manufacturing and production lines.
Main responsibilities
- Perform monitoring routine checks in a GMP compliant production area.
- Maintain GMP quality manufacturing standards at all times, within the production facility.
- Inspect and samples a multitude of raw material and finished product.
- Submission of samples to 3rd party laboratories for testing and insure follow-ups.
- Inspect and approve production rooms and equipment before the start of production.
- Review, correct and complete GMP compliant documentation
- Assist QA/QC manager and the production team in tasks related to product quality
- Generate templates, forms and documents pertaining to product quality.
- Archive documentation related to raw materials and finished products and maintain updated information.
- Any other related tasks
**Requirements**:
- Fully Bilingual (French and English)
- Autonomous and able to work under pressure and in a fast paste environment
- Accurate and Detail-oriented
- Strong sense of organization, tasks prioritization and management skills
- Capable of making contentious or unpopular decision
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Analytical abilities in problem-solving
- Ability to learn quickly
- Lives in the Montreal, Qc area
Education and experience
- 1-2 years of experience in quality work environment, scientific, GMP or food industry
- Preferably CEGEP or associates degree or equivalent
Work schedule
- Monday to Friday (8am-4pm)
- 40 hrs/week
- Full-time position, permanent
