Your function
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the metallurgical field located in Chambly, a Quality Control Laboratory Technician - Permanent position 40h/week - rotating days (see below).
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Produce analyses and reports on customer dissatisfaction and production non-conformities
- Validate product and process conformity according to defined specifications and parameters
- Carry out metallurgical analyses to define heat treatment conformities
- Carry out physical and chemical tests (weights, concentrations, etc.)
- Ensure product and process improvement through statistical analysis

Your profile
-Minimum 3 years' experience in quality control in the metallurgical sector
-AEC or DEC in the field of metallurgy
-Very good level of French - good level of English
-Knowledge of Office suite.
-Experience in metallurgical quality control and assurance
- Salary:
$65k - $75k depending on experience
Face-to-face position, with full insurance, company RRSP, telemedicine and other benefits.
-Hours:
day shift from 7 a.M. to 7 p.M.
- typical continental schedule 3-2-2-3 weekdays and weekends.
