Data Solutions, a division of Important Company Limited, is currently hiring a dynamic and enthusiastic Research Coordinator for a full-time permanent position within the Calgary office.
In this role, you will be working with the New Homes Research team, a group of highly motivated, multi-disciplinary professionals responsible for the collection of new homes data across Calgary and Edmonton.
As our new Research Coordinator, you will be responsible for the successful collection and dissemination of coming soon new home project information and entering the information into Altus? proprietary database. You will complete all daily projects and tasks as assigned, adhere to data collection and quality standards and work to resolve issues. You be called upon to address any issues, questions, concerns from the New Homes Manager, other internal staff, clients or industry stakeholders. On a very limited basis, you be asked to visit new home sales offices to obtain project marketing materials and other relevant information.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data entry into Altus? RealNet database. This includes but is not limited to project information such as dates, sales, unit prices and sizes, construction photos, floor plans, floor plates, renderings and more.
Ensure on-time completion, veracity of data, no missed projects and resolutionof issues.
Maintain data quality and service quality by adhering to the data standards and best practices;
analyzing and resolvingquality and client service problems;
identifying trends;
recommending system improvements.
Participate in team or one on one meetings with Manager, New Homes Research to provide updates on team successes, issues, market trends etc.
On an as needed basis only, visit new home sales offices to obtain project marketing materials such as site plans, price lists, floor plans, and inquire about project details such as occupancy dates, unit types, construction status and more.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Post-secondary education is an asset.
Related work experience is an asset.
Genuine interest in the residential real estate and development industries with a strong desire to learn.
Ability to conduct online research utilizing a number of platforms and conduct follow-Important Company to verify information.
Proactive and takes initiative.
Superb attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to think critically.
Excellent communication skills are critical ? both written and oral.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel and Word.
Valid driver's license is required.
