Researcher, CBC Sports English Services
This role described below is part of CBC's CAPE program which is specifically for people with disabilities. CAPE is a six month paid placement program that aims tkick-start the careers of people with disabilities, eliminate barriers temployment, showcase individual talents and generate discussion, learning and content related tdisability, accessibility and inclusion.
The program will run from September 12 tFebruary 24, 2023.

Your role
What you'll do:
Seek out and obtain audiand/or visual elements for programming and production. If necessary, negotiate, within established parameters, the acquisition of audiand/or visual material from internal or external suppliers.
Seek out, obtain, evaluate and organize information and materials, from individuals and/or varied sources which will contribute tthe realization of the program or segment.
Suggest ideas for, and possible contributors to, programs and/or program segments.
Under supervision, provide support tprograms by preparing shoot tapes, shortlisting program material and archiving program material along with any necessary documentation.
Following specific instructions, screen and time segments of shows noting necessary information and inputting required key information in databases.
Conduct routine correspondence.
Obtain program information for the Associate Producer or Producer.
Respond trequests for, or about program information.
Select visual and audimaterial, make appropriate and copy or arrange for the copying in an appropriate format.
Assemble basic research information.
As required, provides general administrative support tthe program unit.
