- Vancouver, BC The Retail Team Member is responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience to our customers. In addition to prepping and serving our organic juice, bowls, salads, and snacks, you play an integral role in educating customers on the flavor profile, ingredients, and nutritional qualities of our products.
**Essential Duties &
Responsibilities**:
- Welcome every customer, offer your immediate attention, and answer questions
- Use Point of Sales systems to process in-house and 3rd Party Delivery Orders
- Accept customer payments through debit, credit, and cash ensuring strict adherence to cash control policies and procedures
- Adhere to food safety procedures
- Prepare all food and beverage menu items according to Glory recipes
- Sample products to customers
- Answer questions and educate customers on the flavor profile, ingredients, and nutritional qualities of our products.
- Remain current and implement sales of new products, promotions, and operational procedures
- Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly rotate product
- Maintain food ingredient supplies in the prep area
- Maintain back stock areas and coolers
- Practice safe use of all tools and equipment
- Properly package and display products for retail sale
- Properly wrap and store unused products in coolers
- Wash equipment, dishes, and utensils
- Clean guest areas, food preparation stations, washrooms, storage areas, and coolers according to maintenance schedule and as required.
- Attend all store and training meetings when scheduled
- Follow proper etiquette when answering phones and responding to enquiries
- Document product transfers, waste, and spoilage using appropriate forms
- Manage inventory to maximize sales, control discounting, and reduce spoilage
- Complete administrative duties as required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to operate all equipment and software. May be required to taste and smell the products. Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds.
Starting pay:
$16.75 per hour, plus an average of $2 to $4 per hour in tips, free smoothies or juice, discounted food and retail items
