MAIN DUTIESSpearhead HoteI sales efforts through effective oral and written communication while overseeing rate, date and space commitments for group room sales within the HoteI.Work with the General Manager, Guest Services and Sales staff to develop recommend and implement room rate policies and special packages in order to maximize on revenue and occupancy.Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts.Solicit new accounts and review previous banquetfiles to generate business. Oversee service of group functions once they are in house.Write banquet menus, memos, and send out amenities for Guests. Review and revise Catering Department, weekly events sheets and banquet event orders. Formulate and make revisions to annual and monthly forecasts.Meet with key clients on the day/during their meeting/stay including weekends/evenings as necessary in order to continue to build on the established rapport in line with property policy.Job Type:
