JOB OVERVIEWWe are currently seeking a Sales and Service Administrator to join our Assante Private Client team. In this role, the successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and positive person with excellent organizational, communication and computer skills, along with the ability to prioritize and manage a complex workload. In addition to administrative duties, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to advisors with various financial tasks.WHAT YOU WILL DOWork with, coordinate, and follow up on work flow with other company departmentsLiaise and maintain strong relationships with internal departments (PC admin, Investment Policy (IP) Group, PC trading desk, Managed Solutions), ICs and Custodians (RBC Investor Services, NBCN)Prepare new account paperwork, trade documents, and verify transaction completionPrepare expense reports and other important confidential documentsCoordinate, schedule and plan meetings, travel arrangement and other logistical details for the teamPrepare Client related documents, reports, and presentations as requiredMaintain various databases, records, and monthly reportsManage and prioritize email flowCoordinate and maintain calendars for multiple associatesAd hoc administrative tasks and special projects as assignedInvestigate account-related problems, recommend, and implement the best-possible agreed-upon solution for the client in a timely mannerWHAT YOU WILL BRINGMinimum of 2 to 3 years of administrative assistant experience;
Experience in a Financial Services environment;
Knowledge of investment products (such as Mutual Funds, RRSP, RRIF, administrative tax knowledge) a mustStrong oral and written communication skills complimented by strong interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented and able to work well under pressure;
Excellent prioritizationand organizational skills;
Proactive and customer-oriented attitude;
customer focus towards external clients and employees at all levelsStrong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)SALARY RANGE:
