**Job Summary**
Our Delta, BC location of Zodiac Hurricane Technologies has an immediate opening for a Seat Assembler/Shipper/Receiver in our Fabrication Shop. This junior position is permanent, full-time working Monday through Friday on a morning shift and opportunities for overtime.
Tasks include assembly of various components by hand to complete a product that meets ISO 9001 quality standards. Steel toe boots are required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Reading and following schematics and drawings for assembly of seats
- Setting up components for assembly according to specifications
- Assembling seats with hand tools
- Ensuring assembly is within the standards of workmanship and meeting quality requirements.
- Shipping and receiving materials and products following company procedures and updating systems as needed
- Completing, maintaining, updating and distributing paperwork as required
- Picking up and delivering items locally
- Completing work and tasks assigned with time restraints in mind
- Following and understanding the direction and instructions of supervisors and team leaders while working independently and collaboratively with fellow team members, supervisors and stakeholders
- Attaining daily quality work and delivery targets through standardized work
- Following company standard requirements and adhering to policies and procedures on safety and quality protocols
- Troubleshooting assembly problems
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Must have some mechanical skills/abilities with the use of hand tools
- Must have attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
- Strong organizational skills and the desire and ability to learn new things
- Capable of problem solving and decision making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in manufacturing environment is an asset
- Steel toe work boots are required
