Cyber Security Risk and Regulatory is part of the Accenture’s Cyber Strategy offering within Accenture’s security practice. The Cyber Security Risk and Regulatory role supports adherence to laws, regulations and risk tolerances across the enterprise and third parties. In particular, this role will support compliance readiness, seamless compliance efforts, and the building of efficient, repeatable compliance processes at Accenture’s largest clients.
**The Work (Role Responsibility)**
Although no two days at Accenture are the same, your duties as Cyber Security Risk and Regulatory Specialist will likely include:
- Participate in the full delivery of various Cybersecurity Risk and Regulatory engagements serving multiple clients across different industries.
- Assist clients and project teams with readiness for audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews by advising teams on how to prepare for the activity, interact with assessors, and respond to assessor requests.
- Advise clients and projects with improving outcomes of their audits, assessments and regulatory reviews by evaluating their processes and controls against industry standards and frameworks such as Service Organization Control (SOC) Reporting, Payment Card Industry (PCI), ISO information security standards and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
- Assist clients with controls remediation by coordinating with business and IT stakeholders, senior leadership, and control owners.
- Bring hands-on experience from leading and executing audits and assessments of IT controls.
- Monitor aspects of the controls environment to verify ongoing compliance and escalate non-compliance
- Advise project teams on matters relating to compliance with Accenture standards, client policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Coordinate with Accenture teams to verify compliance with Accenture-internal information security standards.
- Coordinate operational activities related to reporting and tracking of risks, controls remediation, and regulatory compliance.
- Solution and coordinate implementation of controls and processes to address audit findings, improve compliance and improve risk posture.
- Contribute to the development of collateral and enablers related to standards, frameworks, regulations and regulatory bodies for use with clients and internal teams.
- Align expectations between internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, existing clients, and prospective client organizations.
- Engage in and contribute to the innovation, growth and enhancement of Accenture Security services;
and,
- Participate in relevant community events that align to personal interests and provide the opportunity for you to build your professional brand.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Here’s What You Need (Basic Qualifications)**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and executing IT controls audits and readiness assessments
- Knowledge of Service Organization Control (SOC) Reporting, Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, ISO information security standards and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR);
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in client-facing project roles:
defining scope, timelines and deliverables;
identifying stakeholders;
monitoring and reporting project status
- In possession of, or eligible for, federal government security clearance
**Bonus Points If (Preferred Skills)**
- One or more of professional designations such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP preferred
- Experience working for the Big 4 or a global SI is highly desired
